I HAD VACATION FROM JULY 3, 2012 TO AUGUST 29, 2012. THE FIRST 17 DAYS WERE SPENT IN DENVER, COLORADO AND THE REMAINING 38 DAYS WERE SPENT IN PROCTOR & DULUTH, MN. I WAS OUT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA FOR 55 DAYS. THAT WAS INDEED A LONG TIME, THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE I WAS AWAY THAT LONG FROM MY HOME BASE.
MY EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES WERE MOSTLY POSTED IN MY FACEBOOK PAGE. THEY INCLUDED NOTES AND PICTURES. I AM POSTING SOME OF THE BEST PICTURES I HAD AND LABEL EACH ONE AS I REMEMBER THEM.

MY TRIP TO DENVER, COLORADO
On July 3, 2012, I took a Greyhound bus to Denver, CO. It was a smooth-sailing ride, having the chance to watch the countryside of Utah & Colorado. Utah was much more like Nevada with all kinds of rock-stone mountains/hills carved-like into varied shapes, sizes, and designs. In the junction between Utah & Colorado, I had the view of the front range of the Rocky Mountains. Colorado's most fantastic geographical feature is the Colorado river. (my opinion) One more thing I loved were the green, very green trees surrounding its' lands/mountains, and even in their rock formations. Denver is located on high, rolling plains, but its mountain mystique begins in the foothills, a gentle series of peaks soaring to heights of over 10, 000 feet. According to what I have read, Larimer which is the city's oldest street, has become a shopping and entertainment mecca. Larimer Square, between 14th and 15th streets, features fine dining, sidewalk cafes, and live music.
