Ohmar & Portia Picache & Family
Ohmar and his family is the only one left in the Philippines. I petitioned the whole family since 2001. We are praying and hoping the processing of their petition will soon be approved. I am looking forward for the family to join us soon in the US.
Mashie, my college friend & classmate
Mashie was a college friend way back from 1963-1967 at Philippine Normal College in Taft Avenue, Manila. That was 46 years ago... She came along from Binan, Laguna and met me in Makati. It was a good time. She has remained the Mashie I knew from way back.

Now, look at AIDEN
This is Aiden now at 7 months old. You will see Ava, also. She is 3 years old in this picture. Roger & I visited them and stayed in MN for 26 days, from Aug. 22, 2013 to Sept 15, 2013. You will see pictures of our "short time together" as a family being in these events/occasions while in MN.

This post is long overdue. I had been so busy with a lot of things, first is FASFOS. Now, I will try to update every posting and make things current. This blog is about what I do and what is happening in my life.

My Usual Breakfast
My breakfast had always been fruits, tomatoes, sausages/eggs, and toasted multi-grain bread/pancakes.

From Las Vegas, NV to Manila, Philippines
It was a long, tedious trip from Las Vegas, NV. American Airlines took me to Los Angeles, then Asiana Airlines took me from LAX to Seoul, Korea, finally to Manila, Philippines.
The ASIANA AIRLINES was a peaceful ride, occasionally bumpy due to air packets. Food served during the flight was delicious. compensatory to the price of my ticket. The flight attendants were tall, slim, and pretty Korean ladies. They were all warm, and friendly.
As the plane descended onto the runway, I prepared myself to land once again on Philippine soil which I did six years ago (2007). It was a feeling of mixed emotion: happiness, excitement, and scary thoughts, nervousness because of negative things/news about everything.
As I picked my checked-in luggages, and trollied my carry-on to the arrival area, my daughter-in-law Johanne met me. She took me to Ohmar's condo in Makati and visit with the whole family.

YEAR 2013
I have neglected this blog for quite sometime. I intend to write again and update my family and friends about myself and the things happening around me. At this time, I am in Proctor, MN visiting my daughter, Marie and her growing family. The new addition is Aiden William Anderson who was born on January 19, 2013. He is my second grandchild and the first boy from her and Ryan.
